Yes, I am a big Jo Spain fan, superb crime writer, she has a brilliant series – book 1 is With Our Blessing.
She also has written many excellent standalone reads, this is perhaps her best standalone to date – but I do obviously recommend you read them all to make your own decision.
This is a brilliant multi layered story with the back drop of ‘the evaporated’…
The pace never lets up, the characters are wonderful and the main one will certainly steal your heart.
Great plotting ensures I really didn’t want to put the book down.
Now of course I just need to wonder how long I will be pacing for before Jo’s next book is published.
