Thank you to Dan for arranging an early review copy for me, obviously it flew straight to the top of the to be read pile on arrival yesterday.
I know so many children (& adults) who love Dan’s books. (Trivia – did you know he has written adult reads as well as children’s reads?)
So no spoilers as always but I’m happy to say that this is a gripping war time read set between the NE of England and Singapore, full of adventure, danger, family, friendship, honesty, hope and bravery.
I will be happily recommending to all once it is published in February 2022 – but until then I suggest you ensure you have read all his others books!
Also I love the cover, simply gorgeous.
