Another great read from Claire!
I happily stumbled across this book last Thursday when I was lucky enough to be browsing the staff review copies in another Waterstones.
I has been desperately hoping to get my hands on it after loving Clare’s previous two books:
People of Abandoned Character,
The Gone and the Forgotten.
Clare’s three novels are all entirely different from each other, you just never know what you are going to get – but she certainly doesn’t disappoint.
With the latest novel you will take Nell directly into your heart, you will be urging her to stay safe and make good decisions with every page you turn.
I couldn’t decide as I was reading it how it would all get wrapped up. I had ideas… I tried to guess.
I didn’t get it right – but I do now wonder if there is just a chance that Clare might return to some of these characters at a later date?
Happy to recommend all three of Clare’s novels.
