This is a debut crime book for Marie who I think has previously written for the teen / YA market.
The best part of this book for me was the characters, I thought these were excellent and you did really become invested in them.
But sadly compared to other crime reads I love this didn’t hit the spot on pace or tension for me.
However, given how much I enjoyed her characters I would look out for a future crime read from Marie.
