I had never heard of Alan Parks before, this ‘The April Dead’ is his fourth book, so I started it with no expectations…
My verdict: Brilliant! Absolutely loved it. Read it through in one sitting yesterday afternoon / evening.
So good that I’ve now no choice but to start at the beginning of the series and get my hands on ‘Blood January’, ‘February’s Son’ and ‘Bobby March will live Forever’. Also I should add that I will be watching for publication dates of book 5, ‘May’.
Absolutely recommended to all crime thriller fans, if you have already read him – why didn’t anyone mention him to me before now?
