Thank you to a lovely friend who passed me their copy, I very much enjoyed the read.
As with most short story books there are those that you prefer within the book and this was definitely the case for me.
Overall, I would probably say I didn’t get the Newcastle feel as much as I thought I might, but perhaps what this shows is that indeed Newcastle is different to all of us.
