Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy, I’m a big fan of Michael’s writing so this didn’t hang around long before it demanded my attention.
If you have never read his books before then let me tell you he is a brilliant writer and I have enjoyed all his books to date.
The Cutting is book 4 in the Annie Jackson series, it works perfectly well as a standalone but so much better to read this series in order.
My recommendation is you start this series at the very beginning with The Murmurs.
I was desperate to finish this last night so sleep has been lost as I stayed up a touch to late but what you can you really expect when the plotting, pace and characters are this good!
Very happy to recommend The Cutting and all Michael’s other books.
