It was read the day it arrived, which given the towers of books to read I have speaks volumes for the quality of Phil’s writing.
This story is fantastic. I suggest once you have read this you dive straight into When The Sky Falls if you haven’t already also read that.
The book has a real since of danger for the children and all involved. But it will pull on your heartstrings too. You will be rooting for a great result with each page you turn.
You will feel for them when they are tired, scared, dirty and hurt.
Magnificent read for all aged 9 to 109!
Definitely recommended.
