Thank you to the publishers for this review copy, having never heard of the book or the author before I had no idea what to expect.
However, I really enjoyed this book and would certainly consider reading a future book by the same author…
My verdict: funny (quite a few laugh out loud moments) with a touch of peril, certainly happy to recommend on to children (and some adults).
A young boy, a baby sister, a secret pen pal all sounds quite normal to me…. well don’t be fooled and whatever you do don’t accept a dinner invitation from this pen pal! Perhaps a good read for a Halloween this year?
