Pleased to report that it was another excellent read in the Tilly and Poe series.
Fans of Tilly though, I have no words – except to say Mike can be cruel to his characters…(and readers).
I found myself laughing out loud as I read this so often! Wanting to read the lines out to my husband – but trying to resist as he’s also a fan and is waiting to read it.
Great plotting and pacing ensured that I stayed up far too late last night to finish it.
The only problem – I now can’t really talk about it until everyone else has read it – then we need some big discussions!
Love Tilly and Poe – but especially Tilly. Also loved Bertie!
The entire series is highly recommended.
Wonder how long I am expected to wait for the next one?
