I won’t give any spoilers but I will say that I was intrigued from the first page! Perfect pace and plotting throughout.
‘The Four’ main characters will truly find a place in your heart. I loved all the characters they are so well constructed. Uncovering their pasts was a delight, sometimes a dark delight but it simply ensured you were looking out for them even more as you read. Who to trust is always the big question? Are staff the ones we should trust or avoid? Which other pupils are trustworthy? Who would you turn to for help? Would you have sought out your own revenge along the way? I found myself unable to put the book down but also needing to savour it – so pacing was involved.
This is a dark boarding school thriller that in my opinion will be a big hit!
