I have been DESPERATE to read this since reading My Father’s House.
I have long been interested in the work done by The Choir and Monsignor Hugh O’Flaherty in Rome during World War 2 so this book like the first was a simply perfect read.
This novel very much concentrates on Contessa and the risks she took as part of The Choir.
The Escape Line achieved so much and saved so many lives they truly deserve all the recognition.
I am of course now pacing around for the third instalment which I imagine I might have to wait two years for…
