Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy, I am a big fan of both Karin’s previous standalone book (My Brother) & the girl in the dragon tattoo series, so it was great to see that Karin had written book 7 in this series – I felt we were in very good hands!
So whilst this series is now on it’s third author – Stieg Larsson books 1 to 3, David Lagercrantz books 4 to 6, Karin Smirnoff book 7, it remains an excellent series which I am very happy to recommend to crime thriller fans and would love to see Karin continue to write.
So Lisbeth Slander and Mikael Blomkvist are back, danger and disaster follow them again! Will the family wedding go well for Mikael? What is happening in the town? Why is Lisbeth there too? Great characters, excellent pace and tension, fantastic plotting – only one problem – how quickly do I get book 8?
Very happy to recommend the entire series and Karin’s previous book – My Brother. So if you are not up to date with these – then do catch up! This book publishes 29 August 2023 – so you’ve two months of reading before then – and don’t forget to pre-order this obviously!
