Purchased this book yesterday and read it last night – it really is not often a book received or purchased is read the very same day.
This book was picked for the primary school book group on twitter this month and having read a few of Lucy’s books previously I knew it would be brilliant so just had to grab myself a copy. I am delighted to report that this is a brilliant read which will be loved by the children but also enjoyed by the adults in their lives too.
Fantastic characters, so much so that I feel a follow up could be a brilliant idea… Lucy.
Excellent story line and pacing ensured that I was not turning the light out until I had finished.
Enough danger to keep me sat upright when it was well past bedtime.
Absolutely and totally recommended.
