I have recently read and absolutely loved Surface by Olivier Norek.
Decided that I really must check out his back list of titles because Surface was my first read of his.
Happened upon this as a second hand hardback on Tuesday so obviously I purchased it.
Now I can confess I did love Surface more but I believe this was his debut and Surface was his 6th book written.
The Lost and the Damned is book 1 of his trilogy, yes I will absolutely look out for the next ones and his other two standalone reads.
The plots are intelligent and well paced, the characters are superb.
This is a crime writer I need to read more from.
Very happy to recommend both The Lost and the Damned and also Surface.
