Thank you to Tony Kent for the early signed and dedicated copy of The Odessa Assassin, this obviously went straight to the top of the pile as I had previously read and loved Revenge of Odessa by Frederick Forsyth and Tony Kent.
We started this with the highest of expectations as Revenge of Odessa had been a previous top 3 read in a year where I read over 300 books. No pressure Tony!
The Odessa Assassin starts off brilliantly, the plot grabs you by the neck to ensure you aren’t putting it down and the tension just builds and builds.
Your blood pressure will certainly be high as you read the final few chapters, I suggest you go for a lie down afterwards.
Perhaps the worrying thing about this read is how real this really could be.
Pleased to report that this is most certainly one of the best thrillers I have read in 2026 so I suggest a pre order before publication on 5 November 2026.

If you have loved this read and were already a fan of Frederick Forsyth’s books then may I suggest you check out Tony Kent’s thrillers – start with Killer Intent, this series gets better with each book so maybe a new author for you or for someone on your Christmas list.

Looking forward to seeing what Tony writes next.
