Thank you to the publishers for this the 5th in the Skelf series. Whilst each book is a standalone story, I would strongly recommend you read the series in order for the full appreciation of Doug’s characters. So start with A Dark Matter.
Doug is an excellent writer and this series has a great cast of characters, good plotting and some laugh out loud moments but I think that’s to be expected from a group of women Funeral directors who are also private investigators.
I couldn’t possibly begin to guess what the next instalment will bring.
Happy to recommend, but please read in order, otherwise you won’t see the brilliance in the characters.
