I admit at first I wondered why are we reissuing, is this on the back of the success of the absolutely fantastic trilogy from him? The Space between us is volume 1 and I highly recommend it..
Anyway I do love Doug’s books so I started it yesterday with more hope than high expectations as it was such an early work from him…
My verdict: LOVED IT!
I was so delighted by how good it was, the pacing was exceptional – I literally didn’t put it down!
It made me smile, it made me worry – the characters truly found a place in my heart.
Very happy to recommend.
