Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy. At first I wasn’t sure I was interested in funny historical, I just couldn’t really decide if this would be entertaining.
However, it is really funny! I especially loved the letters in between some of the chapters.
Mrs Wood is brilliant and you really do feel for her as she meets Miss Finch.
Good plotting and pace. Great ending too!
