It is no secret that I love Christina Dalcher books, so this was a true treat to receive and it consequently landed straight on the top of my towering to be read piles. Now having read The Sentence we have a dilemma … I can no longer decide which is my favourite of her reads. So I urge you all to read them all and then we can discuss. All stand alone reads so pick up in any order. The Sentence is very much about the death penalty and should there be any consequences if the death penalty is wrongly carried out. The tension throughout this book is brilliant and you really will be routing for the right outcome! Completely and utterly recommended.
