I had previously read and loved The Book of Doors also by Gareth so I was very keen to read this one.
Loved the magic, the story telling, the tension, the danger and of course the characters especially Magda.
This to me could indeed be the start of a great new series, I feel there are lots more to explore in the characters stories and of the objects both known and unknown.
Very happy to recommend both Gareth’s books!
