I am a big fan of Louise Kennedy and Claire Keegan’s books so when this novel was suggested as a good read for their fans I just had to read it.
Mairead is a wonderful character that you will certainly want to guide and hopefully steer away from some of the perils facing her.
It is beautifully told, raw and feels very honest, it will absolutely get under your skin.
If I could just request Elaine’s next novel now please…
