This is a well written novel, you quickly become very immersed in the story.
It is based on true events in East Anglia between 1645-7 and is clearly very well researched.
The characters are very well constructed and you really want everything to work out for them. The plotting is excellent.
The worry of what can be done when men are in fear of women is truly worrying.
I would certainly be very happy to recommend this on to others.
