I have read and loved some of Chris McDonald’s previous books so I started this with high expectations.
I am delighted to confirm that I loved it – this is a brilliant start to a new crime series.
Without spoilers… the interview scene had me laughing out loud, she is a fabulous character!
The plotting is superb, the pace and tension ensured I was sneaking off to read this at every opportunity.
Fabulous ending – so Chris – book 2 tomorrow please?
Absolutely recommended.
